Synopsis
In space, a rookie scout hides behind a meteorite, reflecting on war. The sergeant comforts him over the intercom. Seeing a teammate die from lack of oxygen, the rookie is shocked. He reports to the sergeant, who continues to comfort him. Discovering more bodies among the rocks, the rookie faints from shock and lack of oxygen. The sergeant gives him his last oxygen and encourages him before floating away. The rookie searches for survival, rethinking the meaning of war and death. As his oxygen runs out, he smiles and dies.
