Synopsis
Thoondil Meengal (“Fishes on the Hook”) is a poignant exploration of the recurring tragedy of honour killings in India. Through the metaphor of baited freedom and trapped desires, the film dives into the silent yet systemic violence faced by young couples who defy rigid social norms. Set against a backdrop of love, control, and resistance, Thoondil Meengal confronts the cruel weight of caste, tradition, and family honour — questioning who holds the power to love, and who decides its cost.

His work spans hand-drawn, frame-by-frame, and 3D animation, with films showcased at IDSFFK 2017, Chitrakatha 2017, Alpavirama 2020, and KIMFF 2020. He was featured in The Hindu and Hindustan Times for his VR-driven 3D digital preservation of monuments (2017). His AR artwork "War Lord" was exhibited at CADAF Paris (2022), and his holographic projections have been showcased in Paris, Las Vegas, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and London. Winner BAF Awards, Best use of XR in Museum category 2025.
