Synopsis
"Blue" is an animation made using the cyanotype process. The sunlight and ultraviolet rays are used to react with the cyanotype liquid, and the shadow of the object is fixed on the paper to create each frame. I try to capture the shadow of daily necessities in the sun, and use the wind, rain, people walking, and the flow of time as the narrative context to express my feelings about nature, life, and existence.
Biografija režisera
I was born in Guangdong,China,and graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and Academy of Arts & Design,Tsinghua University with a major in animation. I am currently studying and exploring the application of different materials in experimental animation,including cyanotype, stop motion and other forms.
